@MLB ASG sponsors got a ton of exposure in the 3hr long #HRDerby, led by State Farm, Gatorade, the ‘Holiday Inn tracker’ + the MLB Fan Cave.

Note: since the American League belted more homers, AL captain David Ortiz’s charity of choice, the David Ortiz Children’s Fund?!, received $150K, while NL captain Prince Fielder received $25K for his charity, the Ronald McDonald House... State Farm and MLB also awarded $603,000 to the Boys & Girls’ Clubs of America, based on the 95 homers hit.

“This event has been so unique, because it’s always been about giving back to the community,” says Todd Fischer, manager of nat’l sponsorships for State Farm.
